My Story

Meet Rachel
The Maker

I’m Rachel Soley, the founder of Pretty Little Mosaics. I started trading in February 2020. I design and make mosaic gifts and artwork for your home and garden. I live in Cambridge, UK with my family and overly demanding cats (you will notice they quite often pop up in my pictures and videos as they hate not being centre of attention!).

I love using upcycled china as the starting point of my work and giving old unloved plates a new purpose. I use a variety of china, including English vintage fine bone china, retro china, oriental china and contemporary china. I mix the china with lots of different materials, like beach found pottery, ceramic work, glass beads, mirror, glass, cabochon, charms, millefiori and glass mosaic tiles.
